With the rise of police brutality, mass shootings, and reports of sexual violence it's no wonder so many of us are feeling angry and terrified. What happens when there's no warning to disturbing content on social media? How do we still our breath when we begin to feel the tension arise from our core? This evening will be facilitated by a licensed therapist, yoga instructor, and life coach passionate about sharing trauma-informed practices. Due to the size of the space and sensitivity of the topic, we are limiting this workshop to 12 people with limited donation-based tickets | Full price is $30.
Activities will include a short meditation, circle keeping, education on "triggers" and the nervous system, Emotional Freedom Tapping, and a creative writing activity to close out the space.
